About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and systems that support HUD AI/ML proofs of concept and pilots. This role will ensure efficient, scalable, and secure data workflows for machine learning, advanced analytics, and AI integration.
This is a fully remote position supporting a federal government contract that requires a federal background check and NACI clearance. Candidates must reside in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize data pipelines and architectures for AI/ML workflows on cloud platforms.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
- Configure and manage AI/ML-ready cloud infrastructure (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to operationalize models and enable scalable AI solutions.
- Implement data governance, versioning, and lineage tracking for compliance.
- Monitor and maintain high-performance data systems and optimize for throughput.
