The team is moving into larger enterprise engagements, including long-term modernization work on business-critical software, and is adding experienced consultants to support that growth.
The Role
This Senior Consultant will work across data engineering, backend architecture, and front-end development, taking ownership from technical design through production delivery. The role suits a hands-on generalist who builds reliable data systems, works comfortably with clients, and can support earlier-career engineers.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines within Databricks.
- Develop functionality for business applications built using Databricks Apps.
- Build backend services and data infrastructure for durable, business-critical systems.
- Work directly with client stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Own delivery across the project lifecycle while supporting the development of junior team members.
What You Bring
- Three to five years of professional experience in data engineering, full-stack development, or a combination of both.
- A strong track record of building reliable, maintainable, production-ready data pipelines.
- The ability to work across data architecture, backend engineering, and front-end development.
- Experience with the Databricks environment, including Lakehouse or Databricks Apps; PostgreSQL or Lakebase exposure is an asset.
- A collaborative, generalist working style; familiarity with machine learning workflows is useful but not required.
