Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Factory team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines within a banking environment. The role requires strong expertise in data processing, ETL workflows, and legacy data ecosystems, with a focus on reliability, performance, and collaboration within agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
Work with large-scale data environments using Teradata and Ab Initio
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization
Manage and schedule workflows using Control-M
Contribute to documentation, architecture, and technical design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Data Factory
Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements:
Strong expertise in SQL (Teradata)
Experience with Teradata environments
Hands-on experience with Ab Initio
Experience with Control-M (job scheduling)
Solid knowledge of Unix environments
Familiarity with CI/CD practices (basic level)
Experience with collaboration tools: Git, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, Zeenea
Nice to Have:
Experience with Datastage
Other Details:
Full-time position with a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 2 days/week on-site. The role is situated within a dynamic banking environment.
