Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong experience designing and delivering production-grade data solutions
- Confidence working with cloud technologies, with AWS preferred
- Solid coding skills in languages like Python, SQL, Java or Scala
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms, data lakes or warehouses
- A good understanding of modern data concepts like Lakehouse, ingestion and analytics
- Experience across the full delivery lifecycle, from design to support
- A mindset focused on quality, simplicity and continuous improvement
- The ability to break down complex problems and explain them clearly
- A natural instinct to support and mentor others
- Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines that power key business decisions
- Shape our cloud-based data platform, improving performance, cost and usability
- Take ownership of solutions from idea through to production and beyond
- Drive improvements in how we build, deploy and monitor data products
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and resolve them
- Support releases and ensure everything we ship is stable and observable
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, reusable patterns and best practice
- Coach and mentor other engineers, helping them grow and succeed
- Collaborate with product, platform and engineering teams to deliver meaningful outcomes
