Summary
Remote Senior Data Engineer (5–7 years) at thinkbridge who designs, builds, and maintains ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Data Lake, while developing and optimizing SQL and handling database administration and performance tuning on Azure.

- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
- Perform database administration tasks—user management, backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines and database performance.
- Utilize Azure cloud services for scalable data storage and processing.
- Document processes, workflows, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
- Strong expertise in ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Fabric and Data Lake.
- Proficiency in SQL Development.
- Experience with data modelling, query optimisation, and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on exposure to Azure, with working knowledge of Synapse and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
