Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Senior Data Engineer engaged via recruiter Troocoo for a Queensland Government department's data platform transformation. Day to day: designing and building scalable data pipelines, transformations and reusable data products on Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365 and Azure. Initial 12-month contract, hybrid (3 days in office, 2 from home).
We are partnering with a Queensland Government department to engage a Senior Data Engineer for a major data platform transformation project.
Working across Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365 and Azure, you’ll design and build scalable data pipelines, transformations and reusable data products to support reporting, analytics and data migration.
Key Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses and medallion architecture.
- Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations and curated data products, supported by strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform or comparable enterprise data environments.
This role is offered as an initial 12 month contract with the potential to extend for a further 6 months. Hybrid work environment offered is 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
