key responsibilities:
Data Migration & Mapping: Lead end-to-end data migration projects, including analyzing legacy systems, mapping data structures, and executing seamless migrations to target architectures.
ETL Pipeline Development: Design, build, test, and maintain highly scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process large volumes of data.
Data Modeling: Design robust logical and physical data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
Database Management: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts across relational database systems.
Cloud Architecture: Leverage Microsoft Azure data services to build and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available data infrastructure.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Data Migration.
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar).
Database Proficiency: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server.
Core Skills: Exceptional proficiency in SQL and database querying.
Data Architecture: Proven experience with complex data mapping, data profiling, and data modeling methodologies.
ETL Mastery: Strong background in building and maintaining automated ETL workflows.
nice to haves:
Prior experience working in the Financial Services Industry, with an understanding of financial data security, compliance, and governance standards.
