Us3 Consulting is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in Warsaw to build scalable cloud data solutions for a retail client — designing and optimising data pipelines, automating Snowflake RBAC management, and implementing Data Vault models. Core stack: Snowflake, Python, SQL, DBT, and Azure/AWS.
We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team, delivering scalable cloud-based data solutions for a leading retail business. You'll design and optimise data pipelines, automate Snowflake RBAC management, implement Data Vault models, and work closely with architects, analysts, product teams and data scientists to build reliable, secure and high-performing data platforms.
This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies including Snowflake, Python, DBT and Azure/AWS, driving automation, governance and best practice across enterprise data solutions.
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
- Expert knowledge of Snowflake, including RBAC, roles, grants and security
- Advanced Python development for automation and data engineering
- Strong SQL development and query optimisation
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Commercial experience with DBT
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Data modelling experience, ideally Data Vault
- Experience with Git/version control and CI/CD practices
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality and security
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical best practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience automating Snowflake RBAC migrations
- Experience in a retail or large enterprise environment
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud automation
- Experience supporting analytics and business intelligence platforms
