Senior Data Engineer - Waikato location!

A rare opportunity has presented for an experienced Data Engineer to join an Enterprise Data Team on a long term contract basis This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver modern data platform using the latest Microsoft technologies.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain data solutions aligned with our enterprise data architecture.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines that bring data from source systems into our Microsoft Fabric environment.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support data quality across the organisation.
• Participate in Agile Scrum delivery practices within a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You'll Bring Strong experience across the Microsoft data stack, including:

• Microsoft Fabric
• SQL Server
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure DevOps
• Visual Studio

You will also have experience designing and implementing enterprise data pipelines, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Waikato based Data Engineers are preferred and this role will suit a strong team player who is technically proficient and works collaboratively within a highly motivated Enterprise Data Team and wider digital environment.
