Project Details:

• Location: European Union
• Contract type: Full-time, freelance B2B
• Rate: €30-37/h
• Start: middle of October
• Duration: around 3 months (with possibilty of extension)

Requirements

Must-have:

• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in production
• Strong SQL and data warehouse modelling skills (star schema, SCD, data grain, dimensions)
• Experience with dbt or a similar data transformation tool
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation and troubleshooting across the full data flow
• Python for data profiling and scripting
• Experience with Git and CI/CD for data pipelines
• Ability to work in a partially documented, inherited environment and independently identify and solve data issues
• Strong communication skills and fluent English (C1)

Nice to have:

• Experience with a semantic layer (AtScale, Cube, dbt Semantic Layer, LookML, Power BI/SSAS)
• Qlik, Tableau or Power BI experience
• Azure ecosystem knowledge
• Experience with legacy BI modernisation
• German language skills
