Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Governance Consultant to support Data Governance initiatives across different client environments. You will design and implement Data Governance strategies, processes and structures while acting as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Data Governance strategies, processes and operating models.
- Lead Data Governance projects from end to end.
- Advise clients on data policies, ownership, data quality, compliance and data maturity.
- Act as a bridge between business and IT.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, training and data awareness sessions.
- Support Data Stewardship, metadata management and data policy initiatives.
- Advise on the selection and implementation of Data Governance tooling.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and C-level management as a trusted advisor.
- Support organisations in becoming more data-driven and mature.
- Manage stakeholders and contribute to project planning and delivery.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in Data Governance.
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing Data Governance solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Collibra, Microsoft Purview and/or Atlan.
- Good understanding of one or more of:
- Data Quality
- Data Profiling
- Data Modelling
- ETL
- Data Visualisation
- Understanding of mature Data Governance organisations and operating models.
- Knowledge of roles and responsibilities such as Data Steward and DPO.
- Experience with project management and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication, consulting and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently, result-oriented and with strong attention to quality and risk management.
- French language skills.
- Experience working across multiple client environments.
- Experience advising organisations on Data Governance maturity and transformation.
- Experience with Data Governance tooling selection and implementation.
