Senior Data Platform Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains scalable cloud data platforms on Azure, developing data pipelines and microservices with Databricks, Python/PySpark, and Terraform-managed infrastructure, while supporting CI/CD via Azure DevOps.
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud technologies, data platforms, and modern software development. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in building scalable data solutions, developing microservices, and driving cloud-based innovations.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform (IaC).
Proven expertise in Databricks, Python, PySpark, and modern data warehouse solutions.
Experience developing microservices using Python or TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and enterprise data integrations, including SharePoint Online and Excel-based data sources.
Familiarity with Power BI, DAX, REST APIs, Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage effectively with senior leaders in a global environment.
Relevant certifications in Azure, Databricks, DevOps, Scrum, or Secure Coding are an advantage.
