Senior Data Platform Engineer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C..

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform technical assessments/acceptability of software
Representing the customer on various technical review and inspection teams
Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others
Ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues
Working with database engineering to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems
Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for solutions
Reconcile and evaluate the content, accuracy of table and any effect on General Ledger and subsidiary accounts

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience in functional analysis, and experience with Momentum Financials®
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues Ability to write and use SQL for queries and to troubleshoot data integrity Documentation skills for processes and procedures
Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/ civilian personnel and industry partners.
Service oriented mentality required.
Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical customers both orally and in writing.
Demonstrates problem solving, conflict management, and team building skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals.

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
