Senior Data Platform Engineer OLAP

You will expand data platform capabilities across OLAP and data engineering ecosystems. You will build and improve distributed infrastructure, develop data quality and discoverability tools, optimize CI/CD environments, and create reliable real-time and batch streaming systems for analytical workloads.

Responsibilities

• Scale and optimize OLAP ecosystems
• Design data contracts and validation frameworks
• Build optimization tooling and Kafka ingestion pipelines
• Develop and maintain high-performance distributed data platforms
• Work with databases, filesystems, and compute engines
• Build metadata collection and data lineage tools
• Improve platform-wide data quality
• Optimize continuous release and deployment environments
• Develop stream processing applications and frameworks

Requirements

• 6+ years of object-oriented programming experience in Python or Java
• Experience with distributed compute and data systems such as Spark, Trino, Druid, or ClickHouse
• Experience with real-time and batch pipelines
• Experience with Kafka and Spark Streaming
• Strong communication skills
• Experience building reliable and user-friendly data systems
