As a Senior Data & Reporting Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading enterprise organization, supporting a complex transformation program. Your expertise will help map and optimise data flows, dependencies, and user journeys across enterprise-wide systems, empowering strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead analysis of enterprise-wide dependencies involving Databricks and Power BI as core platforms.
- Map end-to-end data journeys across pipelines, transformation jobs, semantic/reporting layers, and dashboards.
- Trace user journeys and reporting processes to ensure full understanding of business outcomes.
- Assess upstream/downstream impacts of changes to data models and reporting logic.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, architects, and stakeholders to validate requirements and project sequencing.
- Produce detailed artefacts including dependency matrices, lineage maps, and process flows.
- Support validation planning, stakeholder sign-off, and data/reporting assurance activities.
- Identify risks, constraints, and inter-team interlocks early, with clear mitigation strategies.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within technical, corporate environments.
- Solid experience with Databricks and Power BI in enterprise contexts.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data/reporting ecosystems and document dependencies end-to-end.
- Excellent requirements elicitation, process mapping, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
- Ability to translate technical architecture and reporting logic into clear business insights.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience working in Cybersecurity environments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows.
- Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot and VS Code for analysis and documentation.
- Experience operating within governance-focused enterprise programmes.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent English (good command required).
