Duferco's Innovation Team is hiring a senior data scientist to own AI-driven products for orders, production, logistics and finance: prototyping on real data, building data models, integrating with ERP and internal/third-party systems, and monitoring AI agents in production. Hybrid setup in Italy with occasional travel to Brescia.
Duferco is expanding its Innovation Team to build the next generation of software across finance, orders, production, planning and logistics. You will design, implement, and own AI-driven products that improve real business processes and empower users with practical tools.
We seek product-minded data scientists who test hypotheses on real data, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly. The role includes occasional travel to Brescia and a hybrid setup in Italy.
Design, build, and own AI-enabled products for orders, production, logistics and finance. Develop data models that reflect how the business operates and enforces data rules. Prototype new process designs and test with real users before scaling. Integrate with ERP, internal and third‑party systems, databases, and APIs. Monitor products and AI agents in production and iterate based on feedback. Drive adoption by staying with users until the product fits their needs. Must think like a data scientist: hypothesize, test on real data, measure impact. Ability to design data models reflecting business processes and rules. Experience with ERP/MES integrations is a plus. Wamiliarity with AI APIs and ability to evaluate AI-driven solutions. Hybrid work setup Competitive compensation with bonus
