Senior Data Scientist

The DS will work to advance the data & analytics capabilities of the D&A team at AniCura. This role will report into the Head of Data & Analytics, AniCura. This role is based in AniCura headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or consulting
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in data analytics, statistics, economics, computer science or a similar field
• Experience with large and complex datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for translating data into actionable insights
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Power BI/Query and Python
• Proficiency in data analysis and querying data through Python and SQL, data modelling and machine learning
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Experience working with applications like Azure Suite, Power Automate, Databricks, Alteryx, PySpark as well as a good knowledge of ETL, dataflows of data warehouses
• Experience using github, strong software development experience is a plus
