What you'll do

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement production-level data science projects tailored to their specific needs.
• Analyze diverse datasets and machine learning applications across various industries, identifying trends and insights.
• Facilitate user training sessions and provide ongoing support to help clients master the Dataiku platform.
• Serve as a data science expert, offering insights and assistance to both customers and internal teams, including sales and marketing.
• Create custom Python-based plugins in partnership with Solutions, R&D, and Product teams to enhance the functionality of Dataiku.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the Dataiku platform by providing feedback and suggestions based on client interactions.
• Engage in the exploration of new technologies and methodologies to stay current in the rapidly evolving field of data science.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring understanding and engagement.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
• A strong desire for continuous learning and curiosity about new topics and skills in data science and AI.
• Empathy and a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues, clients, and the broader community.
• Proven ability to explain intricate topics in a straightforward manner to diverse audiences.
• A minimum of 2 to 10 years of experience working with Python and SQL.
• At least 2 to 10 years of experience in building machine learning models and utilizing machine learning tools, such as sklearn.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques in Python and R.
• Understanding of various data systems, including cloud architectures, Hadoop, and SQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles within the data science domain.
• Background in data engineering or MLOps practices.
• Knowledge of developing web applications using JavaScript, RShiny, or Dash.
• Experience in building APIs for data integration and application development.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level data science tools and platforms.
• A passion for teaching, public speaking, or sharing knowledge through various channels.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries in Python and R.
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms and big data technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data-related challenges.
