About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support a Commercial Excellence Analytics team focused on driving business growth across emerging markets, including Russia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Romania, Belarus, and other regions. The role involves developing analytical models and delivering actionable insights across Field Force Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Pharmacy Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Build predictive and statistical models for commercial use cases such as:
• Pricing elasticity analysis
• Market share optimization
• Brand performance analysis
• Field force effectiveness analytics
• Pharmacy and contracting analytics
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), hypothesis testing, and model development.
• Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and analytical solutions for evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across global markets to define analytical approaches and interpret results.
• Present insights, recommendations, and findings to business teams.
• Work as an extended member of the client's analytics organization and contribute to multiple concurrent initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Python for data science and machine learning.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills using Excel for data manipulation and exploratory analysis.
• Experience with:
• Statistical modeling
• Predictive analytics
• Machine Learning algorithms
• Data visualization and storytelling
• Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Ability to work in an experimentation-driven environment with rapidly evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Retail, or Commercial Analytics domains.
• Exposure to emerging market analytics and pricing strategy projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
