Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

As a Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer, you will join an innovative, data-driven organization where AI and machine learning play a central role in developing intelligent digital products. You will work on scalable AI solutions that support and automate complex business processes using state-of-the-art machine learning and Generative AI technologies. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to both production-grade machine learning solutions and the organization's broader AI strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve production-grade machine learning and data science solutions
• Perform data analysis and reporting to support product, business, and technical decision-making
• Design, build, and optimize scalable AI solutions within a modern software engineering environment
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product Owners in Agile, cross-functional teams
• Contribute to the implementation of Generative AI capabilities within existing products while ensuring quality, governance, and scalability
• Develop AI solutions involving Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI, API integrations, and intelligent workflows
• Design and improve evaluation methodologies for AI systems, including prompt evaluation, model validation, and monitoring of model behavior
• Help deliver secure, maintainable, and production-ready AI solutions that can scale effectively

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Scientist and/or Machine Learning Engineer in production environments
• Strong Python development skills and experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Proven experience across the full machine learning lifecycle, including experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
• Experience with Git, version control, and modern CI/CD practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into product and business improvements
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional development teams
• Solid understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI concepts
• Experience with API integrations and modern software architectures
• Familiarity with AI evaluation and monitoring techniques, including prompt evaluation, model validation, hallucination detection, and model drift monitoring

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GraphQL, OAuth, Keycloak, or similar authentication and integration technologies
• Experience with GitHub Actions and automated CI/CD workflows
• Experience with production observability and monitoring of AI platforms
• Affinity with AI strategy, innovation, and building scalable AI products
