About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST is responsible for designing and developing statistical methodologies and machine learning models that support media measurement products. This role translates extensive global data into strategic insights, working closely with product and engineering teams to advance data-driven solutions within the ResTech sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead research, discovery, and development of machine learning models related to media measurement.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to inform product roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on model design, deployment, and validation.
• Transform statistical outputs into clear visualizations and presentations for varied audiences.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation and validation of product methodologies.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
• At least 5 years of data science experience, preferably in market research or advertising analytics.
• Proficiency in handling and analyzing large data sources independently.
• Strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, survey design, sampling theory, experimental design, regression, and stochastic modeling.
• Solid knowledge of machine learning methods such as clustering, regression, and tree-based models.
• Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis and machine learning implementation.
• Strong analytical skills focused on data validation and accuracy.
• Ability to independently research and learn new methodologies.
• Self-starter capable of managing projects with minimal supervision.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Compensation range: $115,000 to $165,000 USD per year.
