Senior Data Software Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Data Software Engineer to deliver resilient data platforms while applying practical AI across data-driven solutions. You will build and evolve streaming pipelines with Python, Apache Kafka Streams, and Apache Flink on Amazon Web Services, partnering closely with teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, maintainable data solutions aligned with business and technical goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and meet agreed quality standards
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help steer data-focused project direction
• Review peer code and provide actionable feedback that reinforces strong engineering practices
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across development and data processing lifecycles
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge that strengthens their technical skills
• Participate in planning sessions by shaping scope and providing accurate time estimates
• Stay current with technology trends and apply useful approaches in day-to-day work
• Maintain clear documentation of key technical decisions and data workflows for long-term stability
• Work with stakeholders to define clear objectives and ensure outcomes match expectations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Practical knowledge of AI concepts and tools applied to improve data-driven solution design
• Strong proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining data processing applications
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka Streams to run real-time data streaming pipelines
• Working knowledge of Apache Flink for large-scale streaming data processing and analysis
• Practical experience operating in an Amazon Web Services cloud environment
• Ability to use SQL to model, manage, and query relational databases
• Familiarity with NoSQL database technologies for unstructured or semi-structured data
• Understanding of CI/CD practices that support consistent, automated releases for software and data pipelines
• Solid background in Data Software Engineering with a focus on reliable, scalable data-centric systems
• Knowledge of SDLC Methodologies and how to implement them for structured, efficient delivery
• Experience working within Agile frameworks for iterative, collaborative development
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
