Senior Data Software Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Software Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle, from integration to reporting. Responsibilities

• Design and develop data solutions that support financial reporting and business analytics needs
• Build and maintain integrations between multiple enterprise systems and data sources
• Write and optimize complex queries to support efficient data retrieval and reporting
• Develop and maintain backend components that support data processing and transformation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accuracy across systems
• Support the maintenance and performance tuning of multidimensional data structures
• Participate in testing activities to validate data integrity and system functionality
• Document technical processes and data flows to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business priorities

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, managing, and optimizing relational databases
• Solid experience with Java for backend development and system integration
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase for building and maintaining multidimensional data models
• Experience working with SAP as a data source, including extracting and integrating data into downstream systems
• Upper-intermediate English language skills or higher (B2)

Nice to have

• Experience with Cognos TM1 for planning, budgeting, and multidimensional analysis
• Familiarity with MDX for querying multidimensional data structures
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services for building analytical and reporting solutions
• Working knowledge of OLAP concepts and technologies for supporting complex data analysis
