Senior Data Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions based on AWS, Apache Kafka, PySpark, Snowflake, and dbt. The role involves coding solutions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to standard engineering practices, including testing and CI/CD. Additionally, performance testing and optimization will be a key responsibility in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Ensure the team follows standard engineering practices, including testing and CI/CD
• Perform performance testing and optimization to enhance system efficiency
• Integrate monitoring and observability capabilities into the software solutions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Apache Kafka, PySpark, Snowflake, and dbt
• Proven experience in building scalable, secure, and reusable data transformation and processing solutions
• Strong knowledge of integration with monitoring and observability capabilities
• Experience in performance testing and optimization
• Solid understanding of standard engineering practices such as testing and CI/CD
• Ability to conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
