Senior Data Tester

Duration: 4 months contract commencing late September until end of Jan 2027.

Location: Brisbane

The successful candidate will work across healthcare data models, data migration, data ingestion, reconciliation and downstream reporting, ensuring data is complete, accurate and successfully transferred across systems.

• Perform comprehensive data testing, validation and reconciliation
• Test healthcare/patient activity data models across a range of operational activities
• Validate data ingestion from source applications into enterprise data warehouse platforms
• Perform source-to-target validation and identify data discrepancies
• Conduct downstream regression testing of reports and data outputs
• Validate data flows between upstream and downstream applications
• Test workforce and operational data models and associated integrations
• Investigate data-quality issues and support defect triage and resolution
• Work closely with data, integration, business and testing teams

• Strong experience in Data Testing and Data Migration Testing
• Advanced SQL/database querying skills
• Strong experience with data validation and reconciliation
• Experience testing data warehouses, ETL/data ingestion processes and data pipelines
• Strong understanding of source-to-target data flows
• Experience testing downstream reporting and data outputs
• Integration and regression testing experience
• Ability to investigate complex data discrepancies and identify root causes
• Strong stakeholder engagement and defect management skills
• Healthcare data/testing experience highly desirable
• Experience with patient administration systems and patient activity data would be highly regarded
