Senior Database Engineer

Salary: RM 8,000 – RM 12,000 per month

Job Description:

1. Responsible for on-site implementation and delivery of cloud-based database solutions, including database migration and performance optimization

2. Plan and execute database migration projects, ensuring data accuracy, system stability, and performance efficiency

3. Perform troubleshooting, tuning, and optimization for databases in cloud environments

4. Support end-to-end delivery of database solutions across enterprise customer environments

5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery

Job Requirements:

1. Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment

2. Experience in technical delivery, including basic understanding of risk management and requirement analysis

3. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn

4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly

5. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

6. Experience in cloud computing, database delivery, or operations is preferred

7. Relevant certifications or familiarity with cloud computing/ database delivery/ operations within public or hybrid cloud environments/enterprise IT service delivery processes will be an added advantage
