Senior DBA: Oracle & SQL Server in Hybrid, On-Call Role

A-ICE is expanding its IT Service Management Team in Pomezia, Italy. We are looking for a Mid/Senior DBA with extensive experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server to manage database administration, ensure backup and disaster recovery processes, and optimize performance. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field, 3+ years of DBA experience, and must be proficient in both Italian and English. This hybrid position requires team collaboration and includes some travel and on-call duties. Administration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases (on-prem & cloud). Backup/Disaster Recovery and High Availability, including periodic restore testing. Performance tuning and support for application releases. 3+ years of experience as DBA on Oracle and/or SQL Server in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in backup/restore, DR/HA, and query optimization. Driving license (B), availability for travel (5–7%) and 24/7 on-call duty (rotating shifts).
