Summary
A Senior Delivery Consultant in AWS Professional Services designs, implements, and manages AWS-based cloud solutions for enterprise and UK national security customers, leading on-site engagements, migrations, workshops, and security-focused architectures. Core tech: AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security, serverless) plus object-oriented software development.
In this role you design, implement and manage AWS-based solutions to meet client objectives, driving customer success through their cloud journey. You work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS. You act as a trusted advisor on security, architecture and best practices, delivering on-site engagements and guiding implementation. This role combines hands-on delivery with thought leadership to shape secure, scalable cloud solutions for enterprise customers.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
- Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
- Experience in software development with an object-oriented language
- Experience in cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent) and in complex, large-scale projects
- Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of security controls in cloud environments (identity, logging, monitoring, incident response)
- Experience with migration strategies to AWS
