Senior Design Engineer - Electrical

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Electrical Utilities team as part of the M-RESET division of METLEN based in our offices in Thessaloniki.
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will support the engineering, design, technical review and procurement support of electrical utility systems for power plants and energy projects. The role focuses on lighting systems , cable containment systems, cable routing, conduits, while supporting project execution, technical compliance and proposal activities
Your role will encompass:
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil and other engineering disciplines
- Support the design of lighting and emergency lighting systems
- Assist with the design and layout of cable trays, ladders and support systems

Assist with the preparation of technical specifications and equipment requirements

Assist in preparing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for equipment and systems
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design & Production Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in engineering roles
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; experience with AutoCAD MEP, Inventor, or similar engineering software is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary and international engineering team
- Good communication and coordination skills
- A proactive and organized approach to managing engineering tasks and meeting project deadlines
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage
