Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer with strong

knowledge of SolidWorks and mechanical CAD design. The candidate should

have hands-on experience in 3D modelling, 2D drafting, mechanical

component design, Sheetmetal, Machine design and engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling design

activities and developing accurate, manufacturable mechanical designs.

Roles and Responsibilities

Create and develop 3D models of mechanical components, assemblies,

and structures using SolidWorks.

Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances,

and annotations.

Perform 3D modelling, assembly modelling, and design modifications.

Performing sheet metal component design.

Convert 2D drawings into 3D CAD models and vice versa.

DFMA and Manufacturing feasibility study.

Develop manufacturing and fabrication drawings.

Ensure design accuracy, dimensional correctness, and manufacturability.

Perform design changes based on customer and project requirements.

Maintain CAD files, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

Coordinate with production, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

Identify and resolve design-related issues.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD is mandatory.

Good knowledge of mechanical CAD design and drafting.

Hands-on experience in 3D modelling and 2D drafting.

Knowledge of mechanical components, assemblies, and engineering

drawings.

Understanding of GD&T(ASME Y14.5) , dimensions, and tolerances.

Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

3-4 years of experience in solidworks.

Ansys, added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong practical experience in SolidWorks.

Ability to independently handle mechanical design assignments.

Good understanding of engineering design and manufacturing

requirements.

Good communication.

Hindi language added advantage.
