Senior Design Manager, Planning & Technical

A Day in the Life:

· Lead and manage the technical design phase of the projects from conceptualisation to detailed design

· Ensure designs are aligned with project goals and client requirements

· Oversee the design process and ensure compliance with technical standards

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions

· Provide technical expertise in areas such as architectural design, structural engineering, and MEP systems

· Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications

· Collaborate with project managers to integrate technical design considerations into project budgets and schedules

· Advice the design team on any design conflicts

Who are We Looking For:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or any related field

· Minimum 8 years of experience in technical design for construction projects

· Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information

· Ability to create technical hand sketches

· Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Revit, Sketch up, and familiarity with Photoshop and Rhino

· Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Good time-management abilities

· Good understanding / knowledge on latest construction methodology
