Senior Designer, Juniors

NYC Alliance seeks a highly talented and experienced Senior Designer specializing in Juniors fashion. As a Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative and trend-setting designs for our Juniors category. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing designs that meet the brand's aesthetic and market demands.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop design concepts that align with brand aesthetic and target market
• Create detailed technical sketches, specifications, and design presentations for production
• Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure designs are translated into commercially viable products
• Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends, market research, and consumer preferences
• Ensure all designs meet quality and industry standards
• Provide guidance and direction to design team members
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, with a focus on Juniors fashion
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design skills
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, PLM
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and market dynamics in the Juniors segment
