Senior Interior Designer

Job Scope

  • Understand clients' objectives, preferences, and project requirements to develop creative and functional design proposals.

  • Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including detailed AutoCAD drawings, space planning, and design documentation.

  • Support the Project & Sales Head in presenting design concepts to clients, demonstrating how furniture, lighting, finishes, colour palettes, and materials enhance the overall living environment.

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is achieved throughout project execution.

  • Source and specify furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories, while managing procurement, delivery schedules, and installation coordination.

  • Ensure design drawings, specifications, and detailing are accurate and aligned with project requirements.

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining the highest design standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in residential and/or hospitality interior design, with strong expertise in design development, drafting, and detailing.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g. SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and client relationship management skills.

  • Strong design flair with a keen eye for colour, materials, proportions, and spatial planning.

  • Ability to conceptualise design ideas and communicate them effectively through drawings and presentations.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • A collaborative team player who performs well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
