Senior Developer & Analyst

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications

• Lead the development team in coding, testing, and deployment of software applications

• Mentor and coach junior developers and help them grow their skills and knowledge

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure that the software meets the business needs

• Continuously improve software quality by identifying and resolving defects, improving the codebase, and implementing best practices

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and proactively recommend new approaches to improve software development processes

• Developing APIs includes designing and implementing RESTful APIs, integrating third-party APIs, and securing APIs using authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Must have a strong understanding of database design, management, and optimization, able to write efficient queries, manage database migrations, and work with data modelling.

• Developing a package involves creating reusable code, which can be used by other developers. Package development requires a strong understanding of architecture, best practices, and coding standards.

Professional / Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web development

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as PHP, Java, C#, or Python

• Experience with one or more web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.

• Strong foundation in computer science and programming is essential.

• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as understanding of API development, RESTful architecture, and cloud computing.
