Senior Developer – .NET Core, SPFx, React
Summary
Senior developer embedded in a client's product team, building and releasing solutions with .NET Core (C#) Web APIs, SharePoint SPFx, and React, while acting as the L3 escalation point for complex production incidents and building AI/chatbot automation to cut manual support effort. Onsite in Ortigas, Metro Manila with shifted schedules.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Senior Developer to join one of its product teams. You will help turn requirements into working solutions, build and release enhancements, and keep production systems stable as the L3 escalation point.
The role combines hands-on development in .NET Core, SharePoint (SPFx) and React with production support: resolving the most complex incidents escalated from L1 and L2 teams, finding root causes, and putting permanent fixes in place. You will also build automation, using AI tools and chatbots, to reduce manual support effort.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Work with business analysts, QA testers, scrum masters, product owners and subject matter experts to turn requirements into technical designs (solution, application, database, integration and API) and deliver minimum viable products and services.
• Develop, test and release backlog items from coding and unit testing through deployment, applying test-driven practices so only high-quality code reaches the pipeline.
• Act as L3 support: resolve complex incidents escalated from L1 and L2, deploy hotfixes, patches and scripts, and run root cause analysis to put permanent fixes in place.
• Build automation using AI tools, chatbots and scripts to reduce manual support effort, and document solutions to build a knowledge base.
• Join Scrum or Kanban events and backlog grooming, step in as Sprint Lead when nominated, and contribute ideas to improve team practices.
• Work with support teams, development teams and vendors, and be available for shifted schedules, extended hours or weekends (with overtime pay) when needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Must-have
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior developer role.
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture, design and development of integrated systems.
• Proven experience designing, developing and deploying Web APIs using .NET Core and C#.
• Proven experience building web-based applications and RESTful web services using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, XML, stylesheets and ReactJS.
• Proven experience with SharePoint, including developing SPFx applications.
• Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL and Oracle.
• Experience in production support hotfixes and as L3 support.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) and in a team of five or more members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written English, and comfort working with senior executives from diverse cultures in large organizations.
• Locally based, willing to report to the client’s office as needed, and open to shifting schedules (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM PHT) and extended hours.
Nice-to-have
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Test Plans, Repos/Git, Pipelines).
• Experience integrating and developing Generative AI agents.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD and YAML.
• Certifications in secure coding, Scrum or DevOps.
