Senior Developer Relations Engineer

Discussion

Summary

Develop and ship developer‑focused assets—templates, automation, reference implementations and documentation—for HSBC’s new app.hsbc platform, collaborating with platform teams to improve the developer experience.

Some careers shine brighter than others.

If you’re looking for a career that will help you stand out, join HSBC, and fulfil your potential. Whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.

Your career opportunity

We’re building app.hsbc, HSBC’s new application development platform. We’ll win or lose based on whether 30K developers choose to build on it — not because they’re told to. This is a hands-on Developer Relations Engineer (Platform Enablement) role focused on shipping practical assets that make the platform the path of least resistance: golden-path templates, reference implementations, automation and documentation that developers actually use. Over the next 3–4 years, ~80% of bank workloads are expected to move to the platform. That’s why we need people who can build, iterate and deliver at pace — while staying close to developer feedback and turning friction into fixes.
