Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our core networking infrastructure team in Bangalore/Chennai. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing high-performance SmartNIC solutions that power next-generation data centers. You will work closely with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams to architect low-latency data plane solutions, ensuring our infrastructure meets the rigorous demands of modern cloud-scale applications. By optimizing packet processing pipelines and ensuring robust hardware-software integration, you will directly influence the performance, scalability, and reliability of our global networking stack, delivering tangible value to our enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and develop high-performance data plane software to optimize throughput and reduce latency in SmartNIC environments.
- Execute comprehensive NIC validation cycles to ensure hardware-software interoperability and adherence to strict performance benchmarks.
- Implement advanced packet processing logic using DPDK to accelerate networking functions and offload CPU-intensive tasks.
- Collaborate with firmware and silicon engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex PCI-e interface issues, ensuring seamless system integration.
- Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of networking features, from initial design and prototyping to production deployment and performance tuning.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and optimizing high-speed networking applications using DPDK within Linux-based environments.
- Proven ability to perform deep-dive NIC validation, including traffic generation, stress testing, and hardware-level debugging.
- Strong understanding of PCI-e architecture, including bus protocols, DMA operations, and interrupt handling for high-performance hardware.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical constraints to cross-functional stakeholders effectively.
