Senior DevOps Automation Engineer
Summary
Design and automate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Python, GitLab, Azure, Docker, and Terraform to keep a SaaS platform resilient and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Help design, build and continuously improve the client's online platform.
- Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
- Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
- Be a productive member of the team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Python development.
- Experience in automation, particularly infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps pipeline automation using GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Strong Shell scripting skills.
- Experience with API integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with FastAPI and Django using Python.
- Design, prepare, and present High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD), providing technical recommendations and influencing solution design.
- Develop and maintain automation pipelines using Python, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
- Estimate development effort based on Product Owner backlog items.
- Collaborate with end users during acceptance testing to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Build automation solutions across application and infrastructure domains using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Work effectively as a team player and adapt to changing priorities and tasks as required.
