Digifloat is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer (Azure) to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud security best practices.

In this role, you will work closely with development, data, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments, improve platform reliability, and drive cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and delivery.
  
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security across cloud environments.
  
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes.
  
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity.
  
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize deployment and release processes.
  
• Implement security best practices, compliance controls, and governance policies.
  
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment-related issues.
  
• Lead cloud optimization initiatives focused on performance, scalability, and cost management.
  
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices across the organization.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
  
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
  
• Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, security groups, VPNs, and cloud security.
  
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  
• Proficiency with Linux and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
