Join our fintech team as a Senior DevOps Consultant to lead cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production support in a fast-paced, regulated environment. 12+ years of DevOps expertise required; 8–24 month contract with on-call rotation.
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Consultant to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced fintech environment, where adaptability, expertise, and a proactive mindset are key to success. This is a contractor role with an initial duration of 8 months, extendable up to 24 months based on project requirements.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions using PCF and AWS in a regulated fintech setting. \n
- Design, build, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Forge, and XLR. \n
- Configure, manage, and optimize messaging platforms such as Kafka and NATS for seamless data flow. \n
- Monitor, analyze, and enhance system performance with Dynatrace and Splunk, ensuring reliability and compliance. \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance systems. \n
- Develop and optimize database queries for Postgres, Cassandra, and Oracle, ensuring data accuracy and availability. \n
- Provide Production Support for critical fintech applications, ensuring system stability, incident resolution, and adherence to SLAs. \n
- Participate in on-call rotations (approximately 1 in 4 weeks), providing Production Application Support and handling ITSM-related activities such as incident, problem, and change management. \n
- Provide strategic insights and technical leadership to ensure compliance with fintech standards. \n
- Stay current with emerging technologies, regulations, and best practices in fintech. \n

- 12+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, system operations, or infrastructure engineering. \n
- Deep expertise in PCF and AWS with proven fintech project experience. \n
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, Forge, XLR). \n
- Hands‑on experience with Kafka, NATS, and other messaging systems. \n
- Advanced skills in monitoring, performance tuning, and production support (Dynatrace, Splunk). \n
- Proven ability to write and optimize queries for Postgres, Cassandra, and Oracle databases. \n
- Strong background in infrastructure and system operations, forming the foundation for adaptability and contribution in complex environments. \n
- Demonstrated experience in production support environments within fintech, including knowledge of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements. \n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with proven cross‑team collaboration. \n
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in an extremely busy environment. \n

- Prior consulting experience or work in large‑scale enterprise fintech environments. \n
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation. \n
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. \n
- Familiarity with ITSM processes and best practices in incident, problem, and change management. \n
- Strong understanding of financial data security and regulatory compliance. \n
