Summary
Senior DevOps developer (placed by S.i. Systems) supporting D-Wave's quantum computing services in Burnaby, BC — hybrid, onsite 3 days/week. Builds and operates hybrid-cloud and on-prem infrastructure, hardware-based CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security controls using Kubernetes, Linux, and configuration-as-code automation.
Build hybrid-cloud and on-premises infrastructure at D-Wave in Burnaby, using Kubernetes and automation across quantum computing services.
As a Senior DevOps Developer, you will support Processor Software and Hardware Engineering teams. Your work spans infrastructure development, clustered internal applications, CI/CD, monitoring, and high-performance quantum and hybrid computing systems. The position is hybrid, with onsite work in Burnaby three times weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate hybrid-cloud, remote, and on-premises infrastructure
- Streamline builds and releases through CI/CD pipelines
- Architect and maintain hardware-based CI/CD pipelines
- Develop security controls, access rules, and service configurations
- Respond to incidents and perform root-cause analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Five-plus years managing modern SaaS/PaaS environments
- Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate to advanced Kubernetes experience
- Experience with monitoring systems and configuration-as-code tools
