As Senior DevOps & Developer Productivity Engineer, you will join the Software Operations team at Bang & Olufsen. Software Operations is focused on helping engineers deliver better software by strengthening our operational foundations, improving developer experience, and enabling modern engineering practices across the organisation.
In this role, you will strengthen our DevOps capabilities, reduce key-person dependencies, and act as an experienced technical sparring partner for our DevOps and platform engineering initiatives. You will foster productivity and AI adoption while helping to accelerate our AI journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD platforms and pipelines.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to improve reliability, quality, and delivery speed.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code practices and cloud platform maturity.
- Help establish sustainable DevOps practices and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Explore and implement developer productivity improvements, including AI-assisted development workflows.
- Act as a technical sparring partner for our DevOps and platform initiatives.
- Improve how we build, test, release, and operate software across Embedded Software, Cloud, and App development.
What You Bring
You have first-hand experience with mature developer productivity practices and understand what enables engineering organisations to perform at their best. You have supported the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and contributed to improvements in developer experience, software delivery performance, and engineering effectiveness. Confident in independently driving technical decisions, you turn strategy into pragmatic, sustainable solutions while enabling other engineers to succeed. Your background may also include embedded software development environments, observability and OpenTelemetry, or large-scale test infrastructure.
Moreover, you bring
- Extensive experience with DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Experience operating cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience scripting and building automation in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments.
- Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools within engineering teams.
