About the Project
You'll be joining a cloud-native EdTech platform used daily by thousands of students and educators. We're building a secure, scalable AWS environment and we're looking for someone who values ownership, clean automation, and meaningful impact.
What You'll Do
- Design and build cloud infrastructure following AWS best practices (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, Route 53, ELB, CloudFront, DynamoDB and more)
- Write production-grade Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation
- Containerise and orchestrate services with Docker and Amazon ECS/EKS (Fargate) — zero-downtime releases
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines)
- Configure observability and security: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub
- Collaborate with developers, SREs and product teams to improve release velocity and developer experience
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best-practice documentation
Profile / Requirements
- Polish and English required at a proficient level
- Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC best practices)
Solid Experience With Docker And ECS/EKS Orchestration (Fargate Preferred)
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows
- Strong scripting skills: Bash + Python or Go
- Ability to work independently, mentor others, and take ownership
- Serverless architectures: API Gateway, SNS, SQS
- Cloud cost optimisation experience
- Windows RDS / Windows Server / SQL Server
- Cisco Networking / pfsense / Linux & Windows networking
