Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help drive the evolution of our DevOps practices and support our cloud transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with a strong software development foundation who has transitioned into DevOps and enjoys building scalable, automated deployment platforms.

Reporting to the AVP of Software Development, you will play a key role in optimizing CI/CD processes, enhancing platform reliability, improving deployment automation, and supporting the migration of applications and infrastructure to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and efficiency.
• Automate software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes across development and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable platforms.
• Support and enhance containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Lead and contribute to cloud adoption initiatives, including application migrations and cloud‑native deployments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Participate in change management, release management, and operational support activities.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen DevOps practices, tooling, and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to platform architecture and delivery processes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar automation tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with source control and repository management tools such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Bash, Shell scripting, or similar automation languages.
• Experience supporting highly available, mission‑critical applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Software Developer before transitioning into DevOps.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact management platforms.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Experience with cloud migration initiatives and modern application architectures.
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices, release management, and operational governance.
