Senior DevOps Engineer

The IT & DevOps team is core at ArcTouch. We use the best techniques and tools available in the industry to ensure that both clients and our team have all we need for best performance. It includes assisting project teams in setting up, maintaining, and handing off cloud infrastructure to clients, as well as ensuring that our own infrastructure and cloud services are running smoothly and securely.

Know the IT & DevOps team

• Maintain PaaS cloud providers (such as Azure and AWS);
• Think of services with reliability and security in mind;
• Write Infrastructure as Code (such as Ansible and Terraform);
• Maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes;
• Identify toil and help reduce it;
• Automate tasks (your knowledge in any scripting language, such as Shell Script, Python, Perl, Ruby will be a great fit);
• Attend meetings in English to understand client needs, engage on projects, inform service status, or hand over service operations (client-facing);
• Write and keep the documentation of services;
• Identify key metrics to be monitored and set up appropriate tests and alerts for them;
• Troubleshoot incidents and problems to find and solve their root cause;
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD (such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and BitBucket Pipelines);
• Participate in the hiring process by doing tech interviews, helping the company to hire more talented people like you.

In a typical day with us you will

• Participate in stand up meetings with our clients, your team, and project members;
• Check for updates or fixes needed to be applied to our own or client infrastructure;
• Work on patching services and deploying updates;
• Work with other Engineers to maintain, improve and deploy projects;
• Document services assigned to a project or changes made to infrastructure;
• Think of ways of improving tools and processes;
• Monitor alerts and notifications, and act timely on them;
• Maintain Continuous Integration services (mainly Azure DevOps);
• Stretch your legs in our Laboral Gymnastics time or even stop for a while and meditate a bit with our Guided meditation group, or even play a video game with someone else from the team.
