Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS / $80k P/M / Contract

We are currently hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale technology environment in Hong Kong on an initial 12-month contract.

This role will suit an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on AWS experience who can support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation and production platform reliability.

Hong Kong | 12-Month Contract | HKD 60,000-80,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure within AWS
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Support containerised environments and cloud-native applications
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring, performance and security
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues
• Work closely with software engineering, architecture and infrastructure teams
• Drive DevOps best practices across development and deployment environments

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer
• Excellent hands-on knowledge of AWS
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes / EKS
• Good scripting skills using Python, Bash or similar
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking and production environments
• Comfortable working within complex enterprise technology environments
