Summary
Senior DevOps engineer who owns and evolves production Amazon EKS infrastructure on AWS for a high-traffic Media & Publishing client: building CI/CD pipelines for Java, PHP, Node.js and Go services, managing Terraform IaC, supporting databases and caching layers, and improving observability, scalability, security and cost efficiency.
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team supporting high-traffic digital platforms for a client in the Media & Publishing industry. You'll own and evolve production Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS and help engineering teams ship faster and more reliably.
What you'll do
- Design, operate and upgrade Amazon EKS clusters in production.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services written in Java, PHP, Node.js and Go.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK).
- Support and monitor relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis/ElastiCache, Couchbase, DynamoDB).
- Improve observability, scalability, security and cost efficiency across environments.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong, hands-on Amazon EKS experience in production. This is a must.
- Solid AWS knowledge: VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3 and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Docker, Helm and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar).
Nice to have
- Couchbase or Redis performance tuning.
- Experience in media, streaming or other high-traffic environments.
- CDN experience (CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly).
- AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect) or CKA.
