Role Overview
HireOn is partnering with a leading international organization to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy automation, and are passionate about building reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
- Manage and optimize containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and deployment strategies
- Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and performance
- Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and workflows
Core Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, VMs, Networking, Storage, etc.)
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and best practices
- Experience working in agile environments
Good to Have
- Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104, etc.)
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP exposure)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
