Overview
My client, a technology-first hedge fund, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their London team.
Responsibilities
The successful individual will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimising cloud infrastructure and application delivery pipelines within a on prem and cloud environment. You will partner closely with engineering teams to enable scalable, secure, and resilient solutions, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
You should have deep hands‑on expertise across containerisation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD, with a solid grounding in modern DevOps practices. Experience with Python/Java/Go/C# is highly desirable.
- Kubernetes experience - K8s
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform; familiarity with Bicep is a plus
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton and Azure DevOps
- Docker and containerisation best practices
- Git-based version control systems including Bitbucket and GitHub
