- A Platform Engineering mindset focused on reusable, reliable tooling and infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Help design, build and continuously improve the infrastructure and deployment ecosystem supporting the wider engineering function
- Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure and highly available infrastructure
- Take a role in the implementation and ongoing development of Kubernetes
- Work extensively with AWS to build and operate cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Build, improve and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
- Automate repetitive operational processes and reduce manual intervention
- Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance and improve overall reliability
- Improve security, resilience and operational best practices across the platform
- Contribute to the evolution of the organisations Platform Engineering capability
